The phone looks and feels good quality. It has tons of features. The display is crisp and bright, wifi connection is solid and the battery lasts for days. It also updates to Android 8.0 on the first setup, if you so choose. It also has a number of buttons in addition to the standard power and volume buttons: camera, push-to-talk and SOS. (It would be nice if these could be redefined to arbitrary functions, but if it is possible, I haven't found out how.) I have 3 issues with the phone where the specifications were either misleading or downright false. - There doesn't seem to be a barometer sensor in the phone, despite the datasheet claiming so (see screenshot) - There is indeed NFC but you won't be able to use it for PayPass payments, because Google Pay won't install on the phone (claiming incompatibility) - It does indeed support fast charging *with its own charger*, but it's NOT QC compatible. I tried a QC3.0 charger, it just charges it at 5 V. Its own charger is supposed to charge it at 12 V 2 A, which may be true, but so far I have seen only about 10 V 1.5 A. It's still pretty fast, though.

ptarjan Can you please share the display panel ID from the ribbon cable?

Display work perfect. I bought the module because I program PDA computers with reading barcodes and so I can generate those codes directly (via web) on the display, I do not have to print on paper. The sample programs work. Only refresh the display is 5-8sec.

The stand itself is great. The bolts and nuts that came with it, however, don't match the pictures. There are not enough nuts and (long) bolts to put it together; instead, there are nylon spacers which are too long. I *sort of* put it together with some screws I had lying around, but because of the spacers, the connector on the display must be bent at a very awkward angle.

ptarjan Yeah, I've got the same problem, I can't make it work. The silk screen on the board says 20190107 T5_V2.3_2.13 but the ribbon cable to the display says HINK-E0213A22-A0. This version does not seem to be supported by the GxEPD library. So I got myself a microcontroller with barely any free pins and I can't change the display content. Yay. I'm open to further insights.
