First, I don't know why they show that cheap black canopy on the website. mine came with a clear canopy, painted pilot, and even a gauge decal on the cockpit! Highly detailed airframe! I am impressed with the realism! I also appreciate the steerable tail wheel. A few cons: Left landing gear came off... on TAKEOFF! I won't review how they worked, as i was unable to use them. Even with rudder perfectly centered, it pulled hard left in the air. It took substantial trim to correct the issue, but once I did, it flew beautifully. Hardware was included, but instructions were woefully vague as to what was to be used where. Broke a propeller when my landing gear failed on maiden takeoff. A spare was included. However, while replacements are available they're "proprietary" and I've been unable to find them other than sites like BG. Prices are fair, but buy replacements right away or your Mustang will be grounded until your shipment arrives. Summary: Nice value for the money. Some minor issues exist, but I can overlook them for the price. Flew beautifully once trimmed out. The price might be tempting, but this is NOT for beginners. I consider myself an intermediate pilot, and found it challenging but rewarding. As with most warbirds, it will require some babysitting in the air... it's NOT the type of plane that will take care of itself once in the air. Overall, if you've flown a few planes prior and have some familiarity with flying RC aircraft, i highly recommend this fun but challenging plane.

Q: What size are the wheels?

Captnscooba The wheels are approximately 2inch or 50mm diameter. I have one. People should not answer unless they actually know 👍🏼

Fun plane with a few quirks! Well packaged. Versatile. Impressively smooth transition between modes. The cool: *Quick little plane! *Extremely maneuverable and versatile. *LEDs look great (despite some strange choices) *Very capable 6G system, which helps compensate for a few quirks. *Surprisingly tough. In videos, an accidental landing in airplane mode stripes the servos. On my 3rd battery, I had just such a landing. I prepared for the worst, as both front motors had "folded" underneath the nacelles. I carefully moved them back to the proper position... and she flew! The quirks: *Elevator is very "pitchy" using the stock transmitter when in 3D mode. Flight out of 6G requires a lot of concentration. To my knowledge, the only way to resolve this is to bind to a programmable transmitter... WATCH THE PROTOCOLS, though. *Windward wingtip likes to aggressively "pop up" in even a moderate breeze when in 3D mode. I started in 6G mode, and thought the 6G was "jerky"... later realized that it was doing a great job of compensating for the flight characteristics of the plane. *So much white EPO! This isn't an uncommon issue with budget planes, but makes it difficult when flying line-of-sight at a distance. *Why red and BLUE LEDs, instead of standard nav light colors (red and green)? Also, would have loved a white LED that's visible from the top. *SIX batteries for the Tx (AA)! Most similar Tx use only 4. *NOT designed for airplane-mode landing! Many people have had this result in stripped front servos. Go ahead and order inexpensive metal-gear servos for eventual replacement (I found them here in BG for roughly $6 US.. In short, it's a fun model that has a few quirky flight characteristics. I'm sure "stick time" will help with many, but some are just inherent to the model. I'm looking forward to learning to incorporate all flight modes into my flight time!
