BG401853840 It would be best to make this an electric flight model. I would fiberglass the center section of the wing, and reinforce the motor brackets with triangle stock.

TimothyBarnum I had a 1-2 A 049 engine on a control line plane in 1951. It was a little smaller than this plane but just as heavy. I hadn’t flow a plane until a couple of years ago. The electric engines of today are simple to start, don’t require highly flammable fuel or a big battery for start up. It had only one speed. I still have the engine, a Holland Wasp .049 but I can’t see any.
