I have bought this battery because of the good reviews. So I was very exited comparing them to my CNHL batteries which are my favorite. The battery is stated with 110C, but we all know this rate is no way near reached. When I punch the throttle up on my quads, the Voltage warning goes on. And this is not with crazy 2600KV Motors, I rather use moderate 2206 2000KV Motors. My old my old used 70C CNHL Lipo’s do not have this voltage sag even with Motors which have higher current rates. So for me this was the first and last Gaoneng battery. Other than that, I Like the form factor,the size of them and they even have free battery strap. The finishing is good but I’m missing protective layer of fiberglass in them which CNHL also has.

Rocket1975 Specs say 3-5s and that the 2.3KG Thrust have been reached with 4s. Its obvious that the motor will not survive this with 6s if you dont take smaller props.

I tried this at 6s, 6x4.5 APC prop, on a thrust stand. The windings melted at 1.7Kg thrust, big puff of smoke. The motor lasted all of 5 seconds as it ramped from 0kg thrust to 1.7kg. Think twice if you are buying this with any intent of reaching the published specs. The spec claims 6s and up to 2.3Kg thrust, it just isn't so.
