Q: is there any problem re-circulating wort at 65 C? homebrew use.

James Gazin I've been using this pump for about a month to circulate water in a sous vide cooker with a max temp of around 74 C (165 F). It only runs when the heating element is on, which works out to a 10% to 20% duty cycle. I run it at 12 volts to minimize wear. I keep the cooker hot when not in use, but at 135 F, to keep bacteria from growing. So far, it is working great, but I plan to buy a spare just in case it dies while I'm cooking 20 pounds of beef.

I held off on this review for a few days because I wanted to get it set up and play with it for awhile. First, this works great with a 3G sim. My sim was originally in one of those cheap watch/phones that only work with 2G. This is a big improvement in sound quality and signal strength. My plan only offers data via 4G so I can't test that. A big plus is that it runs full Android, so I was able to download an app that only allows calls from trusted people to get through. A few apps I gotten to work: -- ROKU Remote: Works great, but be sure to download an app to lock screen orientation in landscape, or you will find it difficult to work with. -- KORE (App to control KODI): All functions work except using the physical volume control (because there isn't one) but there is still a way to set the volume from another screen. Just go to "Music" and swipe up from the bottom. -- DLNAPlayer: I can play most of the audio and video on my NAS! That's several hundred gigs of audio and video. All video formats I tried worked great except for WMV. It also plays and rescales 1080p on this tiny screen. No need to convert the files first! -- Amazon Prime Music and Video both work great. Prime Music offered to let me cast the audio to my Echo, but I didn't try it. Other Odds and Ends: -- I installed DOSBox Plus and SCUMMVM, but changed my mind and deleted them without testing because I realized they would be essentially unusable on this tiny 320x240 screen without a bluetooth keyboard.. But if you have a need, go for it! -- I didn't install or test any Android games because with a screen this small, it would be an exercise in frustration (for me at least) but not having them leaves me with more room for my music! in Summary, I love everything about this watch except for the fact that it won't take an SD card. That would make it perfect!
