BG502556513 Well on the Novice 4 this motor is run with a 25amp ESC on the AIO board and 4S batteries. The Novice 4 has a take off weight below 250g, being 1404 these are lively motors but I'd say for lighter quads. I hope this helps.

BG191016412 I think it works the other way. these motors on 4s will pull an amount of Amps on full throttle and the esc will either be strong enough to deliver or it will burn. I have 1404 3500kvs on my 250g quad and it will usually say somwhere around 30A max Ampere used.
