The LED's ae really bright but they are NOT GOOD SUBSTITUTE for H4 bulbs. The problem is that reflector geometry is made so that the filament of the bulb is at the focus point of the reflector. So the beam is reflected properly on the road with the "hot spots" where necessary. Unfourtanetly the two LEDs that are used as low beam are too far away from the focal point (due the three led construction). So the result is unfocused beam with lot of leakage light. The comparison could be made. If halogen lights are snipers shooting few accurate shots to target, then those LEDs are like crazy guy with machine gun spraying hundreds of bullets EVERYWHERE, but hitting the target less times than the sniper. I mounted one of the bulbs on my BMW F650 enduro bike. As I was riding alone in the forest, I was pleased because the light was flooding everywhere. Even the treetops were illuminated. But on the road it is bad. First you will blind other drivers. And second the light that is flooded everywhere is not directed on the road where you actually need it. The light intensity ON THE ROAD was weak. With wet road and some incoming traffic it was almost impossible to see the road itself. Thank god there were white lines on the road. Otherwise i could have crashed. There was a deer on the road and i could not detect the outline of the animal at 75m distance with high beams. (think about 75m distance at speed of 120 km/h) Only saw the light reflecting from its eyes. With good halogen lamps deer can be detected from double of that distance at least. The high beams were quite useless. ***I would not recommend those lights for road vehicles, because they are unsafe. With same price range get some Nightbraker etc. halogens. and be safe. If you are looking to replace your halogens with LEDs- go with single chip LED that has very well placed geometry. Not this one. -Unfocused beam, No good "Hot Spot" on the road -Bad light intensity on the road -Decreased object detection range compared to halogen ***But if you can use those LEDs very well off-road. Like tracktor, ATV, snowmobile etc. They are still quite bright lights though. +Very bright +diffused beam, moderate illumination everywhere - good for working lights!! ***PS. the mounting rings for H4 are too thick. I broke my fixator clamp trying to lock the thing in place.

Jagdflieger86 actually you can, but in two parallel power packs. If you build two identical battery packs, both with the BMS. and hook the battery packs in parallel, this could work. Each BMS would control i'ts own battery. But if the first battery runs out then the second gets the double load immediately. So you would have to be careful with the load control.

I have had many planes, but this is by far the best FPV- long range plane I have had so far. Build was very easy and the quality of parts is good. There is adequate room for large batteries, flightcontroller etc. I wish the fuselage could be few cm wider, so i could fit my hand in. First, I hooked it up with 5000mAh Zippy 3S battery, 30A ESC, 2216-8 SunnySky 1250 KV motor, TowerPro MG servos, stock 8x4 prop, eachine 1000tvl camera and 600mW vTtx . It flies like a dream. I had about 45 min of flight time with empty plane with calm weather.x It glided very well, it was glued into the air. The ground effect made the landings bit tricky, but flaps could be used as spoilers and it helps. Thrust of this combo is adequate but it could be more powerful. GroundSpeed about 50 kph with 0 wind, climb rate about 2-3 m/s. Now I have upgraded the pane with Pixhawk, with plenty of accessories and three flight cameras (2x Eachine 1000TVL +SJ4000). Also changed the prop to 8x4.5. The TOW is 2.1kg. New setup has more thrust and it is faster (GS 60 kph @ 0 wind), and climbs better 3-5 m/s but it is more power hungry (more amps to new prop and extra cameras). and the flight time is about 25 min. The setups with 4000+ mAh tend to get nose heavy, need to use balance weight. I operate the plane at rocky surface and i really like the nylon unibody. It takes lot of beating. Since it has large wingspan, I would suggest to reinforce the leading edges of the wings and bottoms of the wingtips with tape. There is a risk of hitting one of the wingtips to the ground while landing. Overall- Good quality plane, flies well, forgiving, stalls softly, efficient, long flight duration, robust fuselage and nice looking. A+++
