meanderboy The buzzer is to to warn you when airborne because you cannot see the display. It would be pointless in the pit area where you can look at the readings. Maybe for blind people? I have several similar units and they all stop buzzing once the voltage recovers.

meanderboy In a single phase AC motor the blue wire would be the neutral but this motor works on DC current. This is a brushless motor which uses three wires and needs a brushless speed controller. The wire colour is irrelevant. Connect the motor to the three wires on the speed controller in any order. If you want the motor to spin in the opposite direction just swap any 2 wires.
