Pestmar You don't need it but it is very useful to manage the quality of the batterys and the individual cells and for the price it's a know brainer

Q: hello out there people! im just wondering my tester doesn't beep hardly at all when testing a 1s battery! is that because not enough juice to make beep?

Pestmar I only use mine on 2s batterys and my nearly makes my ears bread it's that loud hope this helps 😁
