Those who are familiar with the Redmi brand know how nice and good of a value these phones are. My 11-year old stepson has been very heavily using a Redmi 8 for almost a year and it never disappoints. Now I have bought the Redmi 9 model for my 12-year old daughter and the experience is the same: great value for money, beautiful screen and just as fast as phones that cost double the money. Don't expect miracles from the back-camera, but it's certainly sufficient (especially in this price range). If they made any compromise, then it would be there, with the camera. But hey, it's not like you can't use it, my daughter actively uses it with TikTok and Instagram every day and doesn't consider it to be problematic at all. On some cheap tablets the camera is just worthless, that is certainly not the case here. Buy it here: no import duties and delivery in 1 to 1.5 weeks to the Netherlands, is my experience.
