I was very happy to receive the XK A800. The delivery came days before I expected which made me happy. I was able to put the plane together in short time. The design and build quality was very good. The two side air intakes adjacent to the motor were not open all the way past the motor . I felt the air would circulate over the motor better if these ports were open to the battery compartment. I used a 5/32" drill bit and removed some of the foam adjacent to the motor in order to allow the air to move over and cool the motor. I had read in articles where the motor runs hot, thereby shortening its life. I was hoping this mod would help keep the motor cooler. I am going to fly later.
