Johnny_B_Goode Let'sjust hope the solder resist prevents contact between the 170 or 340 volt trace and the diode heatsink long enough for you to enjoy its otherwise state of perfection. It is a nice piece of kit but there are a couple of serious electrical safety issues to be addressed with some relatively trivial reworking with a 180W soldering gun and a file (and an earth strap to the case metalwork.
