Kevin I know this is pretty late, but bear in mind this has not BEC onboard, so it needs a separate 5V battery or separate BEC to operate.

Kevin @AdrianMakes that depends on the size of plane being used, I usually use 3a 5v for small planes with 40-60in wingspans, but this is a 200amp esc, so you probably are using a big plane, so perhaps a 10-15amp 5v bec. or even a dedicated battery for the reciever and servos
