I wear 2x reading glasses... I can only echo what others have said... Pros: When I just use the shield lens, the image is magnified, nicely, and has about an 8" focal distance. Just right for electrical soldering. LED is sharp and bright. You can still wear your glasses. Cons: Heavy, for what they are. Might become uncomfortable, with extended use. Construction is not the greatest. The small lenses are very small and using them reduces the focal distance so much that they would be useless, for electrical soldering. The optical quality is not that great and may cause eye strain, after extended use. It is really bad, when you add a small lens. I will have to use them some more, before knowing if I can live with the eye strain. Presently, I rate them at a 3, because they are exactly what you should expect, from the description and comments. I would not purchase them, if I needed any other lens, than the shield.
