This MCU shipped in correct packaging. Tested it and seem to work ok. The main issue is that it ships with a alternative CH9102F USB to Serial chip not the typical SiliconLabs CP2104. The problem with the CH9102F is that there are no drivers available for MAC OS that works correctly. So at the moment there is no way for me to program this unit with my standard mac development pc. There should be a big warning added stating that this module is not currently compatible with MAC OS. Might also be good to identify different part for the batches that ship with CH9102F vs CP2104. These module are pretty useless to me now unless I want to spend extra money and time to come up with workarounds.
