Great Charger and the variable amp dial does work, I was able to charge a 5000mah battery at 5a in under 40 minutes. Probably not good for the battery, but its working just fine. I have noticed that the charger never over charges (which is awsome), but it tends to under charge only by a .5 to .10 volts. So instead of my 3s being 12.6v, it charges the 3s to 12.5v, not a problem for me, but could be to you, if you want to get maximum time out the battery, but it doesn't matter to me. I highly recommend this charger as your first 6s charger, because of its easy interface, and compact size compared to the other chargers. I love this thing so far 👍🏾
