It took me less than 10 minutes to get it to work with an arduino. It gets a lock even inside after a while. Documentation was a little hard to find, but the big plus was that once I found it and manually set the settings (not in u-center) I got it to work at 10Hz! So it's a 0.01 to 10Hz GPS module for an amazingly low price! Awesome!
