Hello, I am from Amsterdam Netherlands. I have buy this clock and put it together. I must say I am not a expert on this. The soldering with a big solder was to complicated and I have used a mini solder for better result. After assemble the clock the display was not working good. A few matrix blocks are not working. The problem was the main big chip. I used to many solder on that chip. I removed so 70% of the solder with a copper Itze wick. A sort of streng of Cooper to absorb the solder from the chip. After that everything is working in fine order. Only the temperature chip is not working correctly,but all the people here has a problem with that,you can not help that. Now I have a nice transparant clock. For all the people with problems of the clock,check the main chip, don't use to much solder. A better way is to use solder flux to spread the solder better on the chip and do not use a big solder but a mini solder station. This is not my last clock,a have order two more to praxis on it. And than I can give it away for a present to family ore birthday present.
