I own the Evolution Rage 5s table saw. It has a 'standard' 19 mm wide mitre slot, and the mitre gauge I've purchased comes with a 'standard' 19 mm mitre bar. The unit, as it arrived - whilst it looks and feels superbly finished - is not compatible with my saw, as the mitre bar is just a smidgen under 3 mm too deep. As a result, the mitre gauge and the stock being cut rocks up and down as it cannot sit flush with the table-top. Unless I'm able to find an alternative mitre bar that is shallower and still compatible with this mitre gauge, I'm afraid it is beautiful, but entirely useless. I'm sure I'm not the only woodworker who has encountered this problem, and I'm hoping someone out there is able to provide a solution that does not involve the purchase of a new table saw.
