This clapperboard or Slate as you want to call it, is very functional, it serves what it is, an organizer of video clips as well as audio and video synchronizer. The materials are good but not of the highest quality although it is acceptable. The board is made of laser-cut acrylic plastic and letters printed on it seem resistant but when you hit it with your fingers you can hear that it would break if it falls from a height of 2 meters or more. the part that generates the sound is black painted wood with rounded corners, these boards contain two neodymium magnets that keep it stored and generates an emphasis on the clap sound, louder. The wooden boards are joined with screws and rivets that can be adjusted, finally the acrylic board and the wooden boards are joined by a path in the wood and acrylic glued with super glue. If you want it for decoration it is fine but if you are going to use it you should take care of it and prevent them from playing with it to avoid falls.
