Good product but apparently when you switch off the plug the power is not entirely cut off. I have some Christmas tree lights conected into the power plug and when is turned off, the lights still light at a low power

tjheikki Tryreversing the plug. Only one side is cut by the relay and you're apparently cutting the neutral side and the lights are low power enough to dimly lit with the AC live line and whatever capacitance and inductance there might be in the circuit. Haven't actually opened this 15A one enough yet to see the relay or whatever cutting power but would guess there is a relay like in the 10A one, and a relay really does cut all the power (of the one line it happens to be connected to).
