Value for money at the price I paid (just under 20 GBP), I can't fault this radio.
Using the keypad it is a little clunky, but functional. Paired with the free Chirp software and data cable, it's a dream.
My only gripes: The built in speaker is a bit weak. Make sure to get an external speaker/mic. AirBand would also have been a nice addition.
The advertising of BG is poor - this isn't a "walkie talkie" in the same sense as a PMR446 license free radio.
Yes you can set it to those frequencies, but without a HAM license you stand to get into trouble quite quickly.
