This is a doddle to set up. Except, this Muppet (Me!) soldered the programming pins from the bottom of the board...STUPID BUNNY!!! Seriously, I'd recommend you do your development work on a Nano, then use this in an embedded design. Saves both cost, and power. Plus, this is available in 3V3 'flavour' for driving some OLED displays, etc... (Actually to try, I ran this also at 3v3 just by moving the jumper on the FDTI module. Although theoretically out-of-spec, it ran fine) If you think about it, buying the 28-pin DIL version of the 328 doesn't make much sense, with this you get a reset button, oscillator, etc, plus smaller. I bought two to try, next time I'll buy them by the bucketful. Piccie shows it connectted to an FTDI232 - also from Banggood. Powered only from my Linux PC USB. Sorry I put it on a plate - just for scale...
