I didn't realize what UPB meant, these are for mounting in through holes on a PCB. Not so good for soldering battery discharge cables to. If you want to put these on wires, look for the XT30, not XT30UPB part :-(

They are good but very hard to solder the right wires on the connectors. Unlike there big brother, the XT60, they don't have a shaped backend. Just a small knob. They heat up very quickly and melt if you dont watch out! Best way to solder them is to connect the female to the male so that you can dispence the heat quickly and they don't deform that quickly.
