This SSR is good. At current 6A there is a voltage drop of about 350 mV on this SSR. The relay switches from 2.5V control voltage. Higher control voltage is more appropriate, SSR voltage drop is the lowest at control voltage higher than 16V. The voltage drop is heavily dependent on temperature - increasing temperature increases. For higher currents, the SSR needs to be placed on the cooler.

BG411851451 Thank you for your comment. It is very helpful. Yes, a heatsink is always recommended for higher amperage use. I had one with a heat sink running at high amperage and without a cooling fan on the heat sink, it burned out over time. After putting a cooling fan on it, it worked fine. The Fotek part is a Good product.
