I bought ten, I tried one at 12 volt, smoke came whispering off the surface which I thought was skin oil but alas it wasn't, it lasted almost one minute before it died. I tried number 2 at about 10 volts , no smoke and it's still working at a lower luminescence which is a bit disappointing.
