SouthpawRC Ifthey are damaged you can buy a metal upgrade kit here on Banggood, just search for MN D99 parts, or if they are just dirty, wash and dry them then fully grease them up before putting it all back together. Also check it's not your spur gear rather than the axle gears.

SouthpawRC Nodrone has audio, if it DID have audio, all you would hear would be the deafening sound of the motors, and nothing else.... If you want sound you would have to record it separately and add it onto the video in post production using your video editor on your computer.

SouthpawRC short answer is no, you can certainly pick up the 5G video feed with a basic set of goggles as they all pick up 5.8ghz video signals, but I'm pretty sure the control of the drone is also 5G, so I doubt it would let you take off.... I had the same issue with a drone too and ended up buying a Xiaomi Mi red 8 phone from Amazon for about £170 that will work with any drone as it has the 802.11ac WiFi protocols. there's probably cheaper phones out ther that also run 5G but I think you're gonna have to get a phone or sell the drone and stick to 2.4ghz or buy a drone that has a cable connection to the controller, like the Zino Pro

SouthpawRC monitor?it's a 5G drone so you need to have a mobile phone or tablet that has the 802.11AC wifi protocol installed. It must have the AC version in order to receive the video feed. If you are using a laptop you can buy a USB dongle that detects 5G 802.11 AC signals.

SouthpawRC Iwould imagine there are lots of videos on this on YouTube, the reciever is a standard Eachine unit and may bind with other hand units, but if you want to bind it to something else you're gonna have to replace the whole radio system, and there isn't much point doing that on such a tiny car tbh

SouthpawRC TheACTUAL flight time is, in this case, the stated time on the page, I have never got less than 18 mins flight, that's in wind and filming the whole time, I usually get 23 mins with recording, it has a very reliable flight time
