voxtel Solidred means standby. Means no input from bound controller. Solid green means link with controller established. Going back and forth means it's failsafing. Try moving your GCS away from the XM .

voxtel Yes.Kopilot uses standard UBLOX serial protocol to talk to the GPS unit. This one is a bit of an overkill, though because it comes with a compass too. Kopilot doesn't know how to use compass. Probably doesn't need to. I test mine with RTH every time before I fly long range, and it hasn't failed once.

voxtel Itshould work. TX16 should support D16 firmware, which all new XM come with.
