DaBalloonGuy To defocus the beam, simply unscrew the focusing lens and take it off. The area is very big and spread apart.

BG411117392 The specs indicates that it needs 5 volts and not 3.7 volts. I simply use the cut off end of a USB cable. Strip the cable and find the red and black wires. Hook them up and now you have a laser pointer that lasts for a long time.
