Q: Why are there resistors on each board? I've looked at several data sheets for the sk6812 and find no mention of needing a resistor for each individual LED.

Tester567 This are no Resistors... this are Cpacitors... This have NOTHING TO DO WITH INDIVIDUALLY ADRESSEBALE... THIS WAS AN STUPID ANSWER OF SOMEBODY WHO KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT ELECTRONICS

Let me tell you about these LEDs. My cat and I are about wore out from these lights. The LEDs look great when lit but there's not a lot of readily available codes to support the sk6812. Our chief complaint here is the soldering pads. Plain and simple, there's too many for no darn reason. There only needs to be 4 but no, instead there's 6. It gets more annoying just wait. Let's say you make a mistake while soldering. You might as well throw away that LED. Those solder pads come right off with just a little bit of pressure. Every time that happened I had to grab my cat by the scruff of the neck and give him a good, hard, couple of shakes. I hate having to do that but what choice did I have? It hurts me a lot more having to do that than it could ever hurt him. So far I've had to throw away 6 LEDs, so needless to say we're pretty exhausted. My cat hasn't moved in days out of pure exhaustion. The color from the LEDs really is great though.

Joeler 30 degrees is pretty standard for LEDs like these.

When opening the tape reel, some LEDs fell into the salad which I was eating at the same time (no patience). I took them out of the salad and finished. Afterwards I counted the LEDs and one was missing, so I must have eaten one. I am still alive, so they are not poisonous! Still have to test these tiny LEDs

It worked great right out of the box but within a couple days I was no longer able to upload any codes to the microcontroller. This could be my fault though.

I've been using these heavily for a couple of weeks and they've been holding up great and are a near perfect fit for my 862D+ Soldering station. I highly recommend these as a reliable and inexpensive replacement for name brand soldering tips.

I've been having a hard time getting any of these to fit well on breadboards. Most of them do not seem to function very well.
