The board I ordered was supposed to be the Version 1 board, but they sent the same version 2 board that does not work with the Laser as advertised. This is the last straw everytime I buy buy from Banggood I am dissappointed with their quality, build instructions and/or usability of their products. Not happy

Quality looks good, looks very well built, BUT, the controler board on my machine is the newer version 2 board which only has two pins making this laser useless. Banggood needs to come up with a solution for all of us who have bought this laser only to find it cannot be fitted to the controller board. Final thoughts, I should have reviewed others comments before buying this laser, if I had I would not have bought the laser because it cannot be used with the version 2 controler boards. Banggood, any comments?

Q: I bought a 3018 cnc and I want to fit this kind of laser. The board is version 2 and connection for laser has only two pins, but in the board there are more connection points. Where can I get more info?

Apexhunter Their answer is not an answer at all. The controller board only has a 2 pin out for the laser. This laser comes with a 3 pin plug. WTF are we supposed to do. I am so sick of asking questions and not getting answers from these idiots. READ THE QUESTIONS AND ANSWER THEN. If you do not understand English very well, then hire someone who does.

Q: OK, where does this plug in on my control board from my 3018? The laser port on the board only has two pins, the wire is a 3 pin plug.

Fascine Our machine is equipped with a 3P plug-in. The line order is the same, use it directly.

OK the item arrived at my son's house in another state because Banggood wouldn't ship this product to Hawaii. Which is really dumb. I got the device shipped to my home and assembled all the parts and it seems to be well built. The first try worked very well although it was VERY SLOW. It needs more testing to see how much faster I can engrave wood. Today, I received my laser and as I'm installing the laser, I noticed that the set screw on the side of the motor mount was delaminating. I am sure somoene is going to say I tightened the screw too much, but that is not the case. The screw was totally loose as I installed the laser module and only when I went to tighten the screw did I notice the delamination. Do they make a metal mount to replace this one? If not how do I go about getting a replacement motor mount?

Once purchased, I received a Thank you email with assembly instructions and a users guide included. The assembly instructions were not complete but with a little common sense, assembly went without a hitch. I am now in the middle of making adjustments to the firmware. The firmware downloaded from Geeetech will not compile so I am trying to figure out why and I can see others have experienced the same thing. The numbering of the parts and the quality of the entire unit were outstanding for the price. Some complained about having black dust but that was no big deal either. I thought the assembly instructions need to be revised to include ALL the steps in the assembly process. and if you would like it done right, contact me.

The picture used to sell these magnetic balls leads you to believe these balls are larger than they are. It's my own fault for not reading and understanding the metric measurements before committing to purchase. Each ball is smaller than a BB for reference. The magnets are strong and it is fun to play with.
