Overall a decent radio, not quite sure how water resistant or waterproof they are yet. I bought them to use on hunting trips. I was able to program them w/ CHIRP, but can't program the 220mhz channels with CHIRP. Came packed well, came with an instruction manual. Manual doesn't say how to get into VFO mode / Channel Mode. Hold Down Menu Button while Power On the device will switch modes from Memory/Channel Mode to VFO mode and vice versa. The battery is 1700 mah, stated in the manual. Not what is claimed. It is a tri-band 6 watt radio, seems to do 5+ watts on 144mhz, 4 watts on 220mhz, and 5+ watts on 440mhz bands. No complaints so far. Audio quality is what you expect w/ a Baofeng. Can't beat $30. Be sure to push hard until it clicks and fully seats the programming cable for CHIRP to work. Unit came with headset, antenna, drop-in charger, battery, manual, clip, wrist strap. Don't use the default programmed frequencies unless you know what you're doing in the USA. 4 stars out of 5, since it's not a 18 watt radio (HAhAHahah), and not 9500 mAh battery (hHAHahahhah)

astrutt Yes,the interior foam is pluckable so you can customize the shape to hold your equipment.

Worked well, fits my BAOFENG BF-S5plus w/ drop in charger, extra antenna, manual, and power supply. Good enough fit, but not perfect. Quality is good, the foam insert is sturdy, and cut well. No complaints after initial installation. I bought 2x for my hunting radios. Shipping was reasonably fast to East Coast USA.
