BigMac Fanmy is wrong ! . . . Specifications state this : Network: 802.11 b/g/n 150 Mbps 2.4 GHz/5.8 GHz. Having received my device, and for the Win or Android, you must first connect computer to the device as network source, so you can use web browser to enter Lollipop dongle homepage, then click on configure button. It is in there you can select the network frequency range. Do make sure you also select Miracast for Win and Android, or Airpush for the Mac or iPhone etc. Then after reboot you can just use the Cast button in some app or browser, but you must also turn on the Screen Mirroring in your computer or phone device configurations etc. After that the Lollipop dongle will act just the same as a Google Chromecast to HDMI, but you can also take out the minijack to RCA phono to your HIFI amplifier etc. It IS quite complex and took me over an hour to get it working properly. The instruction sheet is very tiny, and you definitely need a powerful magnifier to read the lettering.
