These units are excellent for use on indoor stairs during night hours. On Auto setting the sensors are automatically activated . The units give off good light to illuminate the stairs. Sensor works well and with no need for AC adaptor to operate unit they are very easily installed. Batteries are not included which was not clear in the Banggood advert. The units require 4xAAA batteries. Batteries can be a little difficult to insert and I found a small screwdriver handy to help with this. Ensure the wall mount panel does not have excess plastic around the two mounting holes as it restricts easy slide on fitting of the light unit. I cleaned this up with a small hobby knife,to fix the problem Self adhesive double sided tape is provided or it can be mounted with 2 small screws (not supplied) .A great unit for a elderly resident for use in bedroom,hallway or stairway. The units 2 LED lights give sufficient time of illumination for a main room light switch to be operated by resident. I am sure there are many uses for this Night Motion Light device
