I didn't add any thread locker and lost the screw on the 1st run. Was unable to find a replacement screw locally, so I had to put one of the original plastic ones back on. Not really a fault of the product - it was my own ineptitude that made me think it would be OK without anything

Heavy duty, easy to install. Car seems more stable. Definitely helps especially with jumps and rough terrain
