Okay so my first impression of these motors was that they were overpriced micro motors simply sold on name brand and with little thought in mind of what makes a good micro motor. When I received them although they looked nice I had problems using a soft mount/motor guard I normally use because the axil sticks out far beyond the base and the c clip is very large. Also the base thickness on the motors is small I did not measure the thickness but it can’t be more than 2 mm. This also means finding the right length of motor mounting screws was more difficult and I had to use spacers as the screws were uncomfortably close to the coils. once again installing the propellers I found I could not use the regular screws I normally do with micro motors because they were too long and had to use(M2) 6 mm SHCS instead. one would think with all these thin walled features the motor would be light but it is not! I believe it weighs over 8 grams if memory serves. I just came back from the “maiden” fpv flight and wow these motors do not disappoint! Flight was smooth and felt very comfortable for a first flight! I don’t think they are quite as efficient as the Realacc Orange85 motors but with the quick line of sight test I did they are more responsive and have more kick. can’t speak to dependability but so far I am happy albeit the motors are pricey for the class.
