I haven't tested it at 40m yet and am a little afraid to. The case is very tight on the camera and thus I don't feel it closes properly. You have to really squeeze the back door closed and then the opening clip looks as if it's under extreme pressure and does not line up properly. Also difficult to open on the latch on the back door clip.
