Please note that the yellow/green strip is not actually part of the blade, it is a protective strip to protect the wiping surface during shipping. Good idea, because they are packed in rather flimsy boxes and despite efforts by the shipping department the boxes get wrinkled in shipping. These blades do not have an open superstructure which is common on most blades. I can't wait to see how they perform in the snow which will be here in a month or two. They should do well. Also, note that despite what the description says, they are actually metric lengths that are close but not exact to the inch lengths stated. They connect to the wide J hook arms that are the defacto standard in most American cars today (and probably some imports). They will NOT fit earlier American types such as side pin or bayonet. And the attachment may not be obvious at first, there is a cover that has to be opened first. They work well and I recommend them!
