I own a U2 1A SMO and a T6 4C OP (old model) and love both. The new model is slightly shorter and has a lovely grippy matte coating. Both throw out a huge amount of light, the 1A being quite a bit brighter than the 4C, but the 4C tint is more soothing on the eyes for longer use, and shows colours more naturally than the cooler 1A. I prefer the SMO reflector, but the OP is nice too, it doesn't lose too much throw but spreads the beam out more evenly. The switch on the new ones doesn't have the same satisfying clunk of the old one, but works fine. I chose the XML over the newer XPL version as I read that the beam is too tightly focused for general use with the XPL - and how much throw do you really need? This one already throws a crazy distance, I'd rather have a bit more spread to the beam personally - I wanted a throwy general purpose light, not a true thrower/spotlight and this light fits the bill perfectly! The light doesn't get too hot even on High mode for extended periods due to the large head, very welcome compared to my TN12 which gets too hot to hold on High pretty quickly. This flashlight is such an amazing bargain, I've used lights that cost 5X as much that weren't as well made and effective. If you want a smallish flashlight with amazing throw distance, and decent close range spread - this is the one! Don't forget to order a holster and some decent 18650s.

Отличный фонарик Convoy C8. Заказывал AK47 XML2 U2-1A SMO. Может светить на дальние расстояния во время прогулок на природе. Пришел OP - “мятый” рефлектор, что позволит отработать и на коротких дистанциях. Диод применён - XML2 U2-1A 2800mA (6500-7000K). Мощность на максимуме яркости - 2.8A, на средней - 1.39A, на минимуме - 0.16A. Световой поток 1000 люмен. Драйвер: стабилизатор 7135 х8 (макс ток 2,8А). Защита от влаги - IPX8 (2 м). Работает с аккумулятором 18650 – 1 шт.

This is by far one of the best flashlight I've owned. I got it on special and for the price it really can't be beat! I love it. Excellent throw and very decent flood (orange peel reflector). Recessed tail button means it stands up on it's own. It would be great if it came with a green luminescent tail button and would love a 2x18650 version for a similar price, but you can't ask for the moon! ;)

Ich habe die Lampe bestellt um diese Nachts im Wald oder in Gebäuden einzusetzen. Die Lmape hat wirklich einen schönen BeamShot der das Licht gut nach vorne wirft, aber die Seiten trotzdem gut mit ausleuchtet. Sie könnte in der Dunklen Stuffe ruhig etwas Dunkler sein, mir sind die 3 leucht Stufen zu eng gepackt, was die Helligkeit angeht. Die maximale Helligkeit und die Reichweite gehen absolut in Ordnung. Auch der Akku lässt die Lampe mehrere Stunden ohne Probleme leuchten (Pansonic 3400 mAh), ein Maximum konnte ich noch nicht ermitteln. Wie gesagt, sie könnte in der niedriegen Stufe noch dunkler sein, sonst aber eine schöne Taschenlampe für diesen Preis.
