Plastic material, battery compartment looks flimsy. The metal strip connector in the battery compartment even came out of the holding groove, but when everything was placed well and with the 3 x batteries slotted in, when you press it to on, the light is bright and blinding, and that's so awesome. It is definitely a worthy buy for anyone who wants to get the dark corner well lit. Recommend buy.

Very bright light, easy to install / remove batteries and has a large area for sticking to walls / doors etc. Also has many small holes in the back that would allow it to be hung by small nails if you don't want to put holes in your walls etc. Overall a very good buy at a heck of a low price
