    Having bought a Taranis transmitter for its sheer versatility, I had to have one of these to go with it. Like the transmiter, it comes without any instructions and there is no link to an on-line manual. Fortunately, there are how-to videos on Youtube, but they only scratch the surface. The first hurdle is to get around the complexity of setting up the transmitter to use the module. You immediately find that the transmitter will not even recognise the module until you download and install the latest firmware for the transmitter. You then have to negotiate the various menus to turn off the internal RF module and initiate the external module. You can then select the appropriate model type. Maybe I'm missing something, but not all of the listed model protocols are supported, although the menu structure is so complex that it easy to miss something. I also found that not all of the listed types will actually work. Here is a summary of my experiences: HISKY - It would bind but only gave erratic and intermitent control. I tried this with three different receivers with the same result. DSM2 - If you select 'DSM2' from the menu, it won't work. You have to select 'MULTI' and then scroll through to 'DSM'. You can then select from 'S 11ms', 'S 22ms', 'X 11ms' and 'X 22ms'. 'S 22ms' works with all my models, 'DSM2' and 'DSMX'. (Control order: TAER). Eachine QX80/QX95 - no problem. (Control order: TAER). JXD392 quadcopter - It would bind, but the control order was jumbled and no amount of variations in the transmitter order made any difference. It seems there was a bug in the firmware I dowmloaded. When a later version became available, the setup wizard now worked and I was able to correct this. (Control order: AETR). Nine Eagles P51 - no problem. (Control order: TAER - aileron reversed). Hubsan X4 and Q4 - no problem. (Control order: AETR - aileron and rudder recersed). Eachine H8S 3D - no problem. (Control order: AETR). With all the quadcopters it is necessary to use an oscilloscope to establish the use of the other features. Most of these use pushbuttons and the Taranis doesn't have any, so you have to find tour own workaround for this. Both this module and the Taranis transmitter are not exactly user-friendly. Both need detailed instructions. The transmitter 'Manual' makes no mention of programming. I still don't know what the two lights on the module are for. In short, it will work with most things, except HiSky, but you may need a lot of experimentation and trial and error to get a particulr model to work. Its worth noting that all of the above will bind and work perfectly with my modified Devo 7e.

Модуль поддерживает большинсво современных моделей. Выбор протокола управления осуществляется прямо из меню передатчика. Есть даже поддержка протокола FrSky с телеметрией! И да, этот модуль мощнее, чем встроенный в передатчик в Таранисе:)

    You no longer need to carry around 10 transmitters, with this module, you have the power of hundreds actually probably thousands of different models from aircrafts, vehicles, boats etc... You can even control receivers from a lot of the big name radios. This module give you huge convenience. Since there was no instructions included in the package, I had to do a little research to figure out where to start. This was probably the most difficult part, that is finding good information. Once I found a good source, the Setup was fairly straight forward. Simply plug it in to an openTX compatible radio, and flash your radio with a preloaded multiprotocol firmware. This module uses an STM32f103 chip with 128kilobyes of onboard memory, unlike its predecessor, this board has lots of room for future updates allowing you to store lots and lots of protocols without having to recompile making this module a heck of a lot more convenient. Pros: Excellent fitment, sits flush in a frsky taranis x9d Easy to use Large 128 KB memory storage Can control a huge amount of vehicles and aircraft Upgradable Firmware allows you to keep your 4in1 module current Cons: -No instructions -The only issue I see with this module is that it took a good amount of research to get everything working, either provide links, or provide some instructions inside the packaging. -in order to be able to flash a new firmware, an external adapter is required, it would be more convenient if there is a way to be able to upgrade without this adapter

    The case is a moulded type and fits perfectly. It works like it should, all protocols on hand. The only remark is that ones installed you can't get it out easily because you have no grip on the lockers.

    Flashed new version with the serial connector from RCgroups. Tested binding with DSMx, frsky, flysky receivers and all worked perfectly. Main issue I found was that TX signal output for frsky D8 was about 25-30dbm lower than on my taranis tx and at least 20dbm less than the older Arudino promini 4in1 module sold here as well. Both 4in1 should be the same so can only assume that the 4in1 modules are from different manufacturer or different batches. DSMx power on the other hand seemed to be full range. Construction was good with no obvious flaws.

    Works well... ~71mW output when set to DSMX mode. Noticed that the output jumped to ~82mW after replacing the stock 2" long U.FL to RP-SMA coax cable with a 4" U.FL to SMA cable. Not sure whether the length is important, or maybe the stock coax is not the best quality?

    This module works as advertised!!! It binds my Q X7 to every quad I have. Flysky, Frsky, Eachine E011, Syma X11, etc.....I love it

    Easy to setup and upgrade, works great with my Tarranis Q X7 controller, to Walkera Rodeo 110, Runner 250, Eachine 010 and many more..... awesome
