Excellent timer , does do auto-shutoff unlike some reviews state. But i store it without the battery in so to avoid damage or battery leakage. very clear display although alarm not that loud. I just have to find a way of attaching it to the aerial of my remote control for my aircraft and helicopters as i am going to use it to measure how long i have been flying for in order to know when to land so the baterries dont run out and i crash my aircraft. Item came with flat battery. Battery replaced and now it works. Shuts off when not used.

This is a very simple device. It does its jobs. Counts down from chosen time. On the back there's a magnet that allows you to put it on the fridge doors. There's no way to turn it off. When you pull out the plastic thing that protects the battery it turn on and stays on until the battery runs out. If you need such a thing at this price it'll be OK.
