It is a very stable part and has got a very big ball bearing inside. Turn really smooth. Only negative side is that the aluminum is very slippy. It is really difficult to tighten the go pro mount screws stron enought to avoid unplanned dip opers. May be it is bette when you sandpaper the mount area to make it a little bit rought.
