These MOSFET high amperage handling accesory driver boards ARE absolutely necessary for use within the heatbed circuitry in prevention of fires . I had 2 of my 3D printers catch fire within the last year . Both were due to higher than designed currents of the main motherboard not being able to handle the current required . INSTALLING one of these drivers between the heatbed output connector and the bed itself IS the way to prevent any future maladies . I swear by these and have upgraded all of my printers for SAFETY reasons .
