This analyser seems to scan OK going through a series of protocols but in the case of my car it does not recognise the system, which is not surprising as it is a Citroen that needs a Lexia analyser. This said, its construction is of reasonable quality and the manual in English is understandable. A CD is supplied for updating. This has update utilities for several of Autel's products. The update itself has to be downloaded from the Autel site and then loaded via a supplied USB cable onto the analyser using the appropriate utility. Herein unfortunately lies the problem: Autel have discontinued updates for this model which is now considered by them to be out of date. However, it could be OK as supplied, but, only guessing, it might not work on certain cars, possibly the very later ones. Good price, however, suggest checking on Autels website for currently updatable models.
