works fine with VW vento HL automatic without any issues, in fact I have expanded the length by cutting and adding bunch of wired to make it 1 meter long and still it works as described. thanks. amazon in have to high price and they takes 1 month to get it delivered here I got it at reasonable prices. am happy with this and recommend if you looking for VW cars MDI cables
