This capacitive switches are not bad. Its sensitivity are low so you can't put it in a case. The capacitive plane is on the components side instead of being on the back side. They work well for simples prototypes, but if you want to put your board in a case, they may not work very well.

Used it in a small project for a thermostat with two Arduino Nano. Works great.

Very sensitive. Very cheap. These can be used as momentary switches without Arduino. Great buy.

without any other board I used it to replace normal volume control and viola it worked perfectly
