You can run them on 1s, but you need a good 1s. 750mah turnigy graphene 65C and above. 600mah gave me about 2min flight time. Nano Techs can't handle the voltage and quad drops from the sky in 20 seconds so don't event think about running these on 1s that's not at least 65C rated. It would probably fry the 20-25C. It hovers at about 35% with about 60g build (battery included) and gains height like crazy after that. Get yourself a 2s battery and FC and it should be a blast. If you have a small drill bit you can redrill the gemfan 65mm propellers, they fit well and sit tight (finally a use for those loose propellers). Also, you'll most likely need to modify your frame to fit these motors on. KingKong Smart 100 fit after a gentle redrilling. Diatone BETA 110 fits straight onto motor sockets without the rubber grommets, secure them with some hot glue or heat shrink and you're good to go. Lantian 100 doesn't fit, and with such fragile arms i wouldn't recommend even trying - those motors are way heavier than 8520 - you'd break that frame while landing with these :D Other option is ordering some 3D printed ones if you know the right people... Last thing - they don't have holes at top like 8520, so they're sand and dust proof... If you like to get your micro dirty, or just can't afford to replace 20 motors in one month - this motors might be a good choice for you.

Comprei isto para substituir os motores da minha moto de corrida "Guerra das Estrelas". Tem exatamente a mesma aparência, exceto que o comprimento do eixo do motor é aproximadamente 1,5 mm mais curto do que o original. O adereço encaixa bem. Parece que vai funcionar, mas ainda não o instalei.

Bought this to replace the motors on my Propel Star Wars Speeder Bike. Looks exactly the same except the motor shaft length is approximately 1.5mm shorter than the original. Prop fits well. Looks like it's going to work but I haven't installed it yet.
