Bright light despite 2 × AA Nicad battery!

I bought two of these replacement bulbs which are rated for three volts DC. They work fine in a two cell (D cell) flashlight but work much much brighter in a three cell flashlight. This is because one is "over driving" the bulb at approx 4.5 volts DC. This makes for a brighter bulb but at the expense of how long the bulb will last. Better to use the 3 to 18 volt 1 Watt bulbs which are brighter running at three "D" cells.

J'ai "modernisé" de vielles lampes de poche. Fonctionne correctement. Et donc lumière blanche eu lieu de "jaune". Et fonctionne bien même avec des piles usagées (lumière non puissante)

Perfect replacement for incandescent bulb.

Great light ,made my old military fulton flashlight shine again !!!
